Founded in 1975 Monthind Limited is East Anglia’s leading independent cleaning contractor with a well established reputation for delivering a high standard of cleaning services to a broad customer base in both the private and public sectors. 

Our service offering provides a solution for every cleaning application across a broad range of environments, from conventional offices of all types and sizes to challenging situations in the health, emergency services and utility sectors. 

Monthind employs 800 staff and provide cleaning services for 250 clients across East Anglia and the Northern Home Counties. Our organisation is dedicated to achieving un-rivalled service excellence which is delivered by a valued workforce of well trained and motivated individuals.

Sustainability

We fully understand our responsibility in relation to the environmental, social and economic impact of the businesses activities, and as such take a progressive yet realistic approach to solutions to these issues.  In the last twelve months we have adopted tough but achievable targets in relation to fleet emissions and we will continue to seek to drive these down as technology improves.  Our latest vehicle fleet is being upgraded to include fuel management systems to monitor and improve the standards of driving within our fleet.

We fully comply with current employment legislation and partner with Park City Consulting, we have an established reputation for stability and longevity in the industry through our sustainable, responsible and common sense attitude to business in excess of 35 years.

Social and ethical responsibility

Monthind attaches great importance to its role as a corporate citizen.  It continually seeks to deliver the highest standard of ethical, social and employment practices.  Monthind challenges its suppliers to adopt similar practices.  This applies to direct suppliers as well as sub-contractors, to observe best practice in the following areas:  general employment, the employment of appropriate workers, employee insurance, working environment, respect for individuals and equal opportunities.

Monthind is fully committed to improvement and management of its environmental performance, by regular assessment of operations to gauge impact on the environment. We continually seek to implement measures to minimise negative impacts.  Monthind engages with its suppliers, where appropriate, to assist in continually improving our environmental performance and reduce our impact.
