Celebrating food and drink from the Essex and East Anglian region, the festival runs over two days, with a mouth-watering programme of events from demonstrations and cookery masterclasses to tastings and exhibition stands from local food and drink producers.
The event is well-known for attracting some of the UK’s leading chefs, and 2018 will be no exception. On Saturday, Tom Kerridge will be running a series of live cooking demonstrations and signing copies of his new book, Lose Weight For Good. On Sunday, ‘First Dates’ maître d’ Fred Sirieix will be signing books and joining Chris Galvin on the Chef’s Stage to cook up a storm and entertain the crowds.
The region will be represented by some of our own culinary stars, with demonstrations from local chefs and food producers including Dan Hull, Dayashankar Sharma, Jahdre Hayward and Alan Paton.
Alongside this, every type of food and beverage will be available to sample, eat on site and take away from more than 100 producers from across the region. We advise wearing loose clothing!
For the last three years, organisers have trusted an on-site team from Monthind Clean to manage event cleaning, making sure the site is clean and rubbish free while guests are in attendance and leaving it spotless after the event.
We are delighted to be supporting the Essex Festival of Food & Drink with event cleaning services for a third year – if you’re at the event, look out for the Monthind Clean team and say hello. For more information and tickets, click here
